Instructors must be Adult Members of the Side Saddle Association.

Where instruction facilities are shown, the information has been supplied by the Instructors concerned in their Annual Return. The Association accepts no responsibility for its accuracy or completeness. It is strongly recommended that Instructors have their own insurance as they are not automatically covered under SSA insurance. Insurance is available through the BHS Please see the BHS website for details www.bhs.org.uk.

Pupils are advised to satisfy themselves that instructors have appropriate insurance cover, and preferably a current Equine Specific First Aid certificate (or above) and to have preferably attended a BHS Child Protection Course. The SSA endorses the BHS Safeguarding Children Policy.

All Instructors are reappointed annually and must attend an SSA Seminar in full at least once every three years in order to instruct in the United Kingdom. Failure to attend will result in the Instructor being removed from the list.

Instructors are in a position of trust and responsibility and therefore must uphold the standards and policies of the SSA

The letters before each Instructor's name indicates the level of instruction available:
A = to all levels
B & C = beginners and novices
