THE SIDE SADDLE ASSOCIATION ONLINE VIRTUAL EQUITATION SERIES

It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced competitor or new to side saddle, these online equitation competitions give Members the opportunity to get constructive and helpful feedback from our SSA Panel Judges and prepare for the forthcoming season – all from the comfort of your own stables and home!
The Online Equitation does not count towards Equitation Qualifying Points but if you are registered for the Performance Points Awards you can gain points from taking part in this series.
Overseas Members will be very welcome to take part in the online equitation series. Virtual rosettes will be given to any placed overseas member, however should they want an actual rosette they will be asked to contribute to postage
- 6 x Monthly competitions (OCTOBER TO MARCH)
- Series Points Championship
- Equitation Championship Tests for all levels (40m & 60m arena tests)
- Open to all SSA Members
- No habit required!
The SSA is delighted to announce that a Riding School Section has now been added to all class levels of the current Online Equitation Series. Entries are open and live on 1st November 2023. Participants need to be an Associate/Junior member as a minimum, anyone who joins between now and December 31st will automatically get membership until 31/12/2023. Habits do not need to be worn.
Entries open on the 1st of the month and close at midnight on the last day of the month

ONLINE EQUITATION SERIES 2023/24 (POSTED 19/04/24)

The 2023/24 Online Equitation Series has now finished and the Points Championship placings are published on the Just So website. It was a closely fought championship this year with both Adult and Junior winners decided on the total of the collectives awarded over the series.
A big 'well done' to everyone who took part and it was lovely to see some new members taking part this year as well as seasoned regulars and a big 'Thank You' to our 6 judges
who all gave up their time to judge your tests– we're sure you will have found the comments and guidance provided useful.
We hope the series will return again later this year in October but don't forget, our JumpCoach on-line training is available all year round, and videos of you jumping can be
submitted via the Just So website 'Whats On' page for feedback from a SSA List Instructor – great prep for the National Show! |

ONLINE EQUITATION RULE UPDATE (POSTED 04/12/23)

IMPORTANT - ONLINE EQUITATION TURNOUT RULE UPDATE:
Rule 25. Turnout will not be judged, however costume (period or fancy dress) must not be worn as the judge needs to see the rider's position to enable full and constructive feedback.
